Teyana Taylor’s on Kanye West’s New Album!

If you’re a fan of the song “Dark Fantasy” on Kanye’s upcoming album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, then you’re actually a fan of Teyana Taylor. Before ‘Ye spits a few bars, you can hear some vocal chops gracing the song and it’s all TT! She goes on to explain how she got in the studio with ‘Ye:

“[Kanye] was like, ‘Yo, T. I’m at the studio, come over and vibe out.’ We were sitting there listening to the music, he was showing me different pieces for the tour, and he was wanting me to do some vocals,” she tells Rap-Up.com. “First I was just doing different backgrounds and then he was like, ‘I feel like it needs something else. I’m gonna put you in a room with an engineer with the song and just do what you do.’ And he put me in another room and I just went crazy. When he heard it, he kept playing it and playing it and everyone was giving me high fives.”

She continues to address the nay-sayers who question her existence in the spotlight:

“A lot of people are always asking, ‘What does she do?’ and for my first feature to be on a Kanye album is big for me. It shows that at the end of the day, it don’t matter what haters are talking about. When people like Kanye stand behind you and believe in you, it don’t get no better than that.”

Chrisette Michelle Scolds Rick Ross

Ruh Roh! What could Rick Ross have possibly done to piss off sweet ol’ Chrisette Michelle? According to sources, Rawse was up for a Soul Train award in the Best Hip Hop Song category and lost to Eminem. The loss pissed him off enough to walk out of the show right before he and Chrisette were to hit the stage for their song “Aston Martin Music.”

On her blog Chrisette went IN on Rawse and the ethics of rappers. Check out an excerpt, but be sure to read the entire piece on her Tumblr:

Bugatti Boyz Announce EP

Speaking of Rawse, he and Diddy, collectively known as the Bugatti Boyz, are taking their brolationship to the next level. In the YouTube video below, they announce plans for an EP which I’m not sure how that will sound. If it’s anything like their stage performances, then all you’ll hear is a bunch of heavy breathing and a few “Take that! Take That!” spasms every eight counts.

Drake’s Radio City Concert Heading to TV

Never seen Drizzy Drake perform and tired of hearing everyone else talk about it? Well the good folks at Fuse TV will be bringing Drake to YOU come November 24 at 9PM from his sold out September 29 Radio City Music Hall performance. Special guests from that show includes Trey Songz, Birdman, Fabolous and more!

“If I could perform every night and make it to every city, I would,” stated Drake. “Partnering with Fuse to broadcast my Radio City show allows me to perform for the fans who weren’t able to make it out to my Light Dreams & Nightmares Tour. Performing at a venue like Radio City is an honor and I’m excited that Fuse has given me a chance to preserve it.”
