Taraji P. Henson Is a Bonafide Cougar! Oscar nominee Taraji P. Henson is the latest celebrity endorsing PETA and has gone nude to prover her alliance with the organization. The 41-year-old is totally against the killing of animals for the sake of fashion.

“I don’t think a living being should suffer for the sake of fashion, period. End of story.”

“When I realized what went into – not just, we’re not just even talking about a full-length fur coat, I’m talking about just … fur on your gloves or on your jacket or – what goes into making that little piece of fur ripped my heart out,” Taraji continued. “And as humans, we have control. What if someone said, ‘Black skin is the new fur’?”

With a photo like that, I’m sure no dude is complaining about her stand against fur!

Taraji also stopped by Chelsea Handler’s show to promote her Lifetime TV movie “Taken From Me: The Tiffany Rubin Story” which is based on a true story. Lifetime gave Taraji her first acting gig 10 years ago and she decided to revisit the network to show love. Out of all the characters she’s played in her decade-long career, Lifetime was the only place who offered her first non-fiction role.

Jennifer Lopez Accused of Copying Another Artist?

Jennifer Lopez is being accused of stealing ideas for her “On The Floor” music single from a promo by Latin Pop artist Kat Deluna! Deluna’s song “Party O’Clock” was released in Europe in November and was worked on by Red One, the same producer who worked on J. Lo’s “On The Floor” song. DeLuna has spoken out about the video furor and accused Lopez of “taking away” her ideas.

She tells the New York Daily News, “I’ve seen this before, where the more established artist tries to take the vision and artistic ideas away from an emerging artist, and assumes no one will notice because of their bigger shadow. Luckily, my loyal fans and the power of the internet have let the ‘Kat’ out of the bag.”

But DeLuna insists she won’t be taking any action against the superstar, adding, “Business is business.”

The Good, Bad, and the Ugly of This Week’s New Music

The Good: Dr. Dre for his song “I Need A Doctor” featuring Eminem and Skylar Grey. The song will be available for download on February 1st. Check out how how good the song is below!

The Bad: Mystikal for his song “Uh Oh” featuring Jazelle Paris. Mannie Fresh produced the track, and he rarely goes wrong, but what’s up with Mystikal’s voice? He makes me want to clear my own throat! That’s how raspy he sounds!

The Ugly: We posted this hot mess earlier, but in case you missed it: Spencer Pratt’s Chicken Wing rap. Sadly, this song has been stuck in my head since I first listened to it. I believe this could be used to torture terrorists!

Fabolous, Ne-Yo Joint Album This Year?

Diddy and son Christian and Justin teamed up against their eldest Quincy in a funny practical joke! We won’t give it away, but it’s dope to see a QT with the family! LOL
Jennifer Hudson Is NOT Illuminati! Jennifer Hudson’s hobbies may incorporate big ballin’ but she is is definitely not apart of the Illuminati! Skeptics have weaved the tragic deaths of her mother and nephew and claimed they were sacrificed in an initiation into the music industry’s alleged secret cult the Illuminati. Rap-Up reports that during a Ustream chat with fans, Hudson took the opportunity to address the rumor head on:

“I’m so glad someone brought this Illuminati mess up because only a child of God would address it,” the 29-year-old singer told fans during her Ustream session. “That is the most ignorant thing I have ever heard in my life. And it’s offensive because basically what? The people that are here today don’t deserve to be where they are? What, we didn’t work for it? So I find—and I hate to go there—but I find it’s those that can’t make it that would probably join Illuminati, or whoever that is, to get somewhere.”

“Don’t listen to that type of stuff, don’t follow that stuff because those people are only luring you in to become a part of some mess like that, so know that you’re only falling victim,” she warned. “That’s their way of gaining [followers]. I’d advise you to stay away from it. Those who are reading it are falling into it. It could not be more untrue.”

Lil Wayne Has No Love For NYC Anymore

Weezy has vowed to NEVER, EVER, EVER perform in NYC ever again after catching gun charges that lead to his incarceration. Folks in the audience who saw him perform at Saturday Night Live unknowingly had a rare treat that day!

Rap-Up reports:

Following his release from jail in November, Weezy made appearances on “NBC’s New Years Eve with Carson Daly” and “SNL,” both taped in New York City, but he has no plans to perform in concert there. “They’d have to give me U2 money,” he told Rolling Stone.

Weezy’s feelings stem from his 2007 arrest in the city for attempted criminal possession of a weapon, for which he served eight months on Rikers Island.

Wayne wants to get far away from the City That Never Sleeps, eyeing vacations in Santorini, Hawaii, or the Napa Valley. “Your phone doesn’t work,” he said of the Northern California locale that came recommended by Drake. “I heard it’s a very relaxing place.”
