Has Beyoncé Revived R&B With Her New Single “1+1″?
Last night was historic for R&B fans. After years of many artists ditching their gritty R&B roots for the lucrative dance platform, Queen Beyonce retraced the elements of what makes R&B special to bring us her new song “1+1″ off of her upcoming album 4. The song was written by The-Dream and it talks about how a person’s love can make you overcome adversities of life. It’s very romantic and channels a little Prince. Viewers on American Idol had the pleasure of watching her perform it live last night. Check it out below.
