Kreayshawn on Using the N-word

What's the Word

Kreayshawn still has a full set of teeth, so it’s safe to assume that no one has stepped to her for tossing the N-bomb around. In case you’ve just returned from a trip to Mars, Kreayshawn is a white rapper from Oakland, California. She recently signed a deal with Sony Music, thanks to her hugely popular single “Gucci Gucci.”

While that’s good and all, she’s also found herself defending the use of the N-word, even though she’s never actually used it in a song. This is the closest she’s ever come to using the word publicly:

Here’s what she told Dr. Jay’s earlier this month:

“I don’t know about the ‘N’ word. I do not say it or would ever feel comfortable having it in my vocab. I don’t know what or if there’s any kind of pass where a white person gets to say it and it’s okay. It’s a very touchy subject.”

I’ve yet to find one song where she utters the racial epithet. So why does it keep coming up? Well,  as she notes in the allhiphop.com interview below, her sister and fellow White Girl Mob member V-Nasty is notorious for using the N-word.

Sounds like V-Nasty has some ‘splaining to do.
