The 2011 BET Hi-Hop Awards nominations are in. JAY-Z, Kanye West, and J. Cole are among the notable nominees up for various awards. Jay and Ye were nominated for Best Hip-Hop Style, while J. Cole’s Friday Night Lights is up for Best Mixtape.

Lil Wayne nabbed 18 nominations to lead the pack. The news comes just days after his Tha Carter IV topped the Billboard 200 with sales of 964K copies. Wayne received nods in almost every category, including Lyricist of the Year, MVP of the Year, and Video of the YearKanye West and Wiz Khalifa are tied for the second most nominations with 9 and Rick Ross scored 8.
