If you haven’t heard much from Bridget Kelly, it’s because she’s been holed up in the studio perfecting her Roc Nation debut. Now she’s slowly unveiling new songs to whet your appetite for the main dish. At the moment, BK has three songs to her name: the emotionally raw “Thinking About Forever,” the no-nonsense “Quickie” remix, and arguably her finest track yet, “Seek & Destroy,” taken from her upcoming Every Girl EP.
The neck-snapping beat that opens the track initially suggests that you’re in for a mid-tempo shaker; it’s pleasantly surprising then that “Seek & Destroy” hits you like a bucket of cold water. “You’d better not fuck this up,” Kelly warns her man on the Dream-penned anthem.
