This is becoming an unfortunate trend among pop vocalists. Yesterday, it was Adele and Kelly Rowland with vocal issues. Today it’s Roc Princess Rihanna who had to cancel a concert after catching a bad case of the flu.

“Sorry Malmo!!! #LOUDtour,” Rih Rih tweeted on Monday, along with a picture of herself on the hospital bed, hooked up to an IV drip.

Rihanna’s scheduled performance at the Malmo Arena was canceled due to the flu. “I am sorry to everyone who was coming out to my show in Malmo, Switzerland,” Rihanna said in a statement. “I was so excited to perform for you all.”

She added: “It would have been a great time…so much better than being sick with the flu, ugh! I’m really disappointed I couldn’t be there.”

Live Nation hopes to reschedule the concert with details to follow in the coming days. All tickets will be honored for the planned future date and refunds are available at the original point of purchase.

Universe, stop hurting our pop stars damnit. Get well soon, Rih Rih.
