Meek Mill and Rick Ross Freestyle over “No Church in the Wild”

Music

M-M-M-Maybach Music General Rick Ross and his Philly-bred cadet Meek Mill spit ghetto gospel over The Throne’s “No Church in the Wild.” DJ Flexwas the first to unleash the freestyle. It’s one of the more interesting Throne freestyles we’ve heard in a minute.“All the lil’ homies wanna eat, but we never settle beefs,” Ross rhymes, perhaps a shot at unnamed adversaries. Meanwhile, Meek Mills reaffirms why he’s been billed as the next star to emerge from the MMG camp. “Tears drip on my dad’s casket, niggas turn me into a bastard,” Mills laments before ending his verse with this quotable: “I asked God, ‘Please remove my enemies.’ I was surprised when I lost niggas that was friends with me.” Whoa, Milly.

As we reported earlier, Rick Ross is putting finishing touches on a new mixtape, Rich Forever. Mills is also prepping his own mixtape with Wale, due sometime in 2012.
