Roc Style with 2 Chainz
Welcome to another episode of Roc4Life’s Roc Style. Roc Style is a series of interviews with entertainers and trendsetters where we discuss fashion, personal brand and, of course, Rocawear’s influence on their style.
He’s the hottest MC out of ATL. That’s what Roc4Life’s fashion scribe, Rae Holliday, learned about rap’s new rookie 2 CHAINZ *Screams* when he stopped by his hotel suite after his first performance in NYC at the Legendary S.O.B.s
2 Chainz (then known simply as Tity Boi) first popped up on the scene as a part of the rap group Players Circle (DTP/Def Jam) most noted for the Lil’ Wayne assisted track “Duffle Bag Boy.” He’s since been on a steady grind to the top. He’s now the #1 draft pick in these rap streets preparing to sign a deal with one of the majors.
It’s good to be 2 Chainz. So what’s next for the MC? We caught up with 2 Chainz to talk fashion, style, and life.
On three words that represent his personal style: “Clean, Neat and when I say fitted I mean fitted, customized, tailored not skinny.”
On style inspiration: “I’m from the South Side of College Park and we’ve always been fashion conscious … I’ve always been a Ralph lauren, Gucci Kinda Guy”
On what’s next: “2 Chainz about to get himself a record deal!”
