Ashanti Talks Tearful Reunion with Ja Rule
We shared images of Ashanti’s spring ensemble at Power 99 last week, but they paled in comparison to her interview with the station.
Indeed, during her talks with the radio hosts, the singer shared details about the dramatic reunion that she had with Ja Rule.
Ashanti notoriously split with The Inc. Records to form her own Written Entertainment label but not before she clashed with her former mentors Irv Gotti and Ja Rule. However, shortly preceding his current stint in prison, the latter contacted Ashanti and they had a tearful conversation about the standing of their friendship.
Don’t expect a full The Inc. revival, though. Ashanti is quite happy being her own boss and owning the rights to all of her own music.
