Jessica Simpson and her gut full of human are on the cover of Elle. Nekkid. Jess is joined by her fiancé, ex-NFL player Eric Johnson.

Demi Moore is, of course, the godmother of baby bump covers. Moore started the trend in 1991 when she graced the cover of Vanity Fair while seven months pregnant. Also on covers pregnant: Britney Spears for Harper’s Bazaar in 2006 and Christina Aguilera for Marie Claire in 2008.

The 31 year-old Simpson and her beau are expecting their first child. The couple revealed the baby’s gender in the Elle interview. They’re expecting a girl. While they’ve already picked out a name, they’re not sharing just yet.

“It’s nothing shocking and nothing you’ll have to add to the dictionary,” says Simpson. “When people hear it, they’ll know why.”
