Remember Nelly Furtado? Well, for those of you under the age of 18 who don’t remember the early 2000s, you’re about to discover a “new” artist.

Returning to her Urban roots for the first time in years, Furtado has released her comeback single, “Big Hoops (Bigger the Better)”. The track was produced by Darkchild and will appear on the singer’s T.S.I. (The Spirit Indestructible) album, which hits stores on June 19th.

Let’s get this straight: Furtado does not sound like Rihanna. Yes, they have similar styles but Furtado has been chanting since Missy Elliott’s “Get Ur Freak On” remix. Listen to “Big Hoops” below:
