Slaughterhouse Feat. Cee-Lo – “My Life”
It’s a somewhat funny and cynical joke to have Crooked I kick off the new Slaughterhouse single by spelling out his group’s name.
It was Crooked, after all, who inked a “G”-less “Slaughterhouse” tattoo on his arm two years ago.
“My Life” is a decent apology for several reasons, least of which isn’t Crooked’s ability to bend rhymes with ease. His Slaughter brethren Joell Ortiz, Joe Budden, and Royce da 5’9″ also deliver strong performances on the self-congratulatory track. Cee-Lo? Well, that’s just one helluvan adornment.
“My Life” appears on the Shady group’s second album, Our House. Give it a spin below.
