Black Family Locked Inside Restaurant over Tipping Controversy

What's the Word

Whoa. We’ve heard and read all kinds of crazy stuff this week, but this one takes the, um, cake.

A black family in Houston was held hostage at a seafood restaurant for refusing to tip their waiter. Apparently, the restaurant LA Fisherman has a 17% gratuity policy for a party of five or more, but Jasmine Marks and her friends didn’t think the service was worth the extra bucks. They were locked inside the restaurant, the manager called the cops.

Here’s the news report.

Well, u need to understand its they’re policy, it is wat it is. Also, waiters/waitresses rely on tips to make a living, generally they only make $2.83/hour! And u figure once taxes r takin out that equals zero! B considerate of that fact.

Sounds personal. Find another job..if the person waiting on me, wants my extra hard earned money, then they need to provide quality customer service…gratutity should be earned, not expected..

Tho it is a bit extreme to b locked in n the cops called
