Whitney Houston “Celebrates” Life on Final Song

Whitney Houston has died but her voice lives in in her final recording, “Celebrate”, from the upcoming Sparkle soundtrack.

Sparkle will hit theaters on August 17th and its corresponding soundtrack will feature several songs from Houston as well as her co-star Jordin Sparks. Among those tunes is “Celebrate”, which was written by R. Kelly and recorded within the weeks prior to Houston’s death.

Ironically, Houston sings about loving life in “Celebrate”; a somewhat cruel twist of fate for the diva who died on February 11th from accidental drowning caused by her relapse into drug use. However, you can celebrate her legacy one last time by listening to the song below:
