This past Friday, Roc4Life attended the launch event for the new Style Network series, Empire Girls, starring TV personality Julissa Bermudez and singer/actress Adrienne Bailon. The event, held at the trendy NYC spot, Bishops & Barrons, and sponsored by Nuvo Sparkling Liquer, was the official kickoff to the new reality show.

Empire Girls is a series about two young, Latina, rising stars living and working in New York City and doing their part to take the entertainment industry by storm. While the attendees of the event unfortunately weren’t treated to a full advance screening of the show, we did get to see a few key sneak peeks and viewers are in for a treat.

Many of you will remember Adrienne Bailon from The Cheetah Girls and Keeping up with the Kardashians, and we will say that she is a crowd favorite and you definitely want her to win. Both of the stars come off very down to earth and relatable — girls you definitely want to keep an eye out for.

The event ended with the two co-stars working the room full of press and taking pictures and actually spending time with everyone, which seemed to make a mark on the attendees. We are definitely rooting for these two!
