Roc Item of the Day: Beyoncé’s Obama Earrings
We usually reserve our Roc Item of the Day for Rocawear products, although we’ve made some rare exceptions in the past (like this one). Today, we’re bringing you another non-Rocawear product but one that some of you ladies might like.
Introducing: The Obama Earring.
Erika Pena designed this earring in support of the POTUS. It features a 7 cm hoop with high polish finish, and is available in gold and silver. The hoop forms the word “O” with the word “Bama” dangling.
So what’s that got to do with Beyoncé?. Well, TMZ is reporting that Pena had only sold five pairs of the Obama earrings before Beyonce decided to don them. Now she’s sold 1,300. Talk about the power of celebrity endorsement. And it’s not just Americans that are rocking these. Pena says orders have been pouring in from all over the world, from London and Switzerland.
