All of Rihanna’s hard work is paying off. After weeks of rigorous promotion, the superstar’s “Diamonds” has topped the Billboard Hot 100 but the good news doesn’t end there!

“Diamonds” is now Rihanna’s 12th #1 song on the Hot 100, thus tying her with Madonna and The Supremes in 5th place among artists with the most chart-toppers. In fact, she has now surpassed Whitney Houston’s 11-song tally in the history books.

As the good news continues to roll in, it has also been announced that Rihanna’s Unapologetic album will debut at #1 on the Billboard 200. The record is expected to sell 240K-260K copies during the next week and earn Rihanna her 1st #1 set on the lineup.

Also, the Unapologetic album will amass Rihanna’s highest first week sales to date. The 240K-260K units total far exceeds the 207K opening figures of her former fastest-seller, Loud. It definitely is a great week to be Rihanna.
