She didn’t just fall out of the sky though, having been been mentored by musical genius R.Kelly. She’s been signed to a major deal for three years and has traveled the world. L&HHATL was just another chapter in the biography of the soulful songstress.
Roc4Life recently caught up with K. Michelle to chat about her personal style, life in front of the camera, and future projects.
On her personal style in 3 words: “Carefree, laid back and edgy…”
Three fashion items she would take to a deserted island: “A wife beater, a rhinestone flask, and a new pair of Jordans.”
On whats next for K. Michelle: “I’m putting out an EP, a different kind of EP before I complete my album, along with a spa I’m opening in Memphis… I’m gonna do what I wanna do, and that’s be happy!”
