I think they enjoy dressing up like everyone else to temporarily escape their own lives (doesn’t Rihanna look beautiful? I have no clue who she’s supposed to be, but she looks gorgeous). Here’s our top 5 celebrity Halloween costumes for 2012!

5. Ludacris as Anthony Davis

Ludacris completely cracked me up as he transformed into New Orleans Hornets rookie and unibrow enthusiast Anthony Davis. Those eyebrows!

4. Ellen as Sofia Vergara

When talk show host Ellen DeGeneres interviewed her guest Sofia Vergara and came out dressed as her twin sister, it was extremely hilarious and creative. Especially since Ellen’s normal tomboy swag is the total opposite of the vivacious actress. Don’t you love it?

3. Evelyn Lozada as Ariel the Little Mermaid

Reality star Evelyn Lozada did a great interpretation of Ariel aka The Little Mermaid, even down to the engine-red hair. She definitely nailed it.

 2. Lance Gross As Eazy-E

Lance Gross decided to dress up as “the godfather of gangsta rap,” Eazy-E! With his homie in tow, they looked like one half of N.W.A.

1. Miley Cyrus as Nicki Minaj

And no one surprised us more than “America’s sweetheart” Miley Cyrus, who channeled her inner Nicki Minaj!! OK, maybe it wasn’t a real surprise, given Nicki’s popularity, but Miley was a dead ringer for the colorful rapper. She definitely gets my vote!
