Meet the New Brooklynettes
The Brooklyn Nets’ fast start may have Barclays Center quaking with excitement. But make no mistakes: The buzz is about more than just the Nets. The center also hosts one of the NBA’s hottest dance teams, the Brooklynettes.
The Brooklynettes immediately made an impact when they debuted their uniforms: tight and short outfits, paired with knee-high dance boots. Inspired by Clueless? No clue on that one.
And so now, we get to meet some of the ladies vying for a spot on the team. They’re from all over the States: Pennsylvania, Georgia and, of course, Brooklyn, NY. In a new vlog from sister site Life + Times, we meet rookie members of the Nettes as they find out what it takes to become a Brooklynette.
