Beyonce Scores $50 Million Pepsi Deal

It’s no secret that blue is one of Beyonce’s favourite colors, and now her world will be filled with a lot of it. How much exactly? About $50 million of it!

According to The New York Times, Beyonce has inked a $50 million deal with Pepsi to serve as the official brand ambassador in exchange for support on her upcoming creative endeavors. That’s right, Pepsi will fund her 2013 chart comeback.

“Pepsi embraces creativity and understands that artists evolve,” Beyonce stated. “As a businesswoman, this allows me to work with a lifestyle brand with no compromise and without sacrificing my creativity.”

Ahead of Beyonce’s performance at the 2013 Super Bowl Halftime Show, she will star in a new commercial for Pepsi with the theme “Live for Now”. The campaign, which is the fifth with the company, will launch on February 3rd.

The first Beyonce-styled Pepsi cans will be released to stores in March 2013. Get your first look at the artwork below:
