Big Sean Talks Career Journey on ’106 & Park’

What's the Word

Did you know that Big Sean was a telemarketer before he got his break as a rapper? Well, it’s true. Sean shared that story and much more during his visit to BET’s 106 & Park.

While chatting with the new 106 & Park hosts, who also happened to work at the radio station where he first met Kanye West, Big Sean revealed details about his career path. Specifically, he chatted about how he was once a telemarketer and worked a few odd jobs to get ahead.

But Big Sean didn’t only reflect on his past. He also set his sights set on future greatness, hence the title of his new album, Hall of Fame.

“I’m bossing up and being somebody in my city as an example to do what you do,” Big Sean explained. “Even if the hall of fame doesn’t exist, you make your own hall of fame, be great and remembered.”
