Looks like Roc Nation newcomer Jahlil Beats is off to a fast start. The PA producer, who joined Roc Nation Management last October, has confirmed he’s working on new music for el presidente himself, Jay-Z.

The 24-year-old told Power 99 that Hov is in the studio picking beats for new projects. He’s not sure where his beats will end up. Jahlil Beats also produced Meek Mill’s “Repo,” the Cassidy diss buzzing in the streets of Philly. Naturally, he was asked to weigh in on the feud (“It’s all a competitive thing. I think it’s good hip-hop”).
