HBO’s Girls will issue a soundtrack on Jan. 8, just five days shy of the show’s Season 2 premiere. The soundtrack will also feature music from indie darlings fun., Sleigh Bells, Fleet Foxes, and more. Leading the charge is Santigold with the appropriately titled “Girls.”

Girls is the brainchild of writer Lena Dunham. In a press release, Dunham says, “Music is such a huge part of my creative process.” She adds: “I make playlists to write by and listen to as I head to set in the morning, and I experiment in editing with songs that the characters would love and that accurately reflect their struggles.”
