T.I. Previews ‘Trouble Man’ in NYC, Calls it His Best Album
Last night, journalists, tastemakers, and radio personalities alike were invited to preview T.I.’s brand new album, Trouble Man at Electric Lady studios in New York City.
Guests included model/actor Tyson Beckford, blogger Necole Bitchie, and media personalities Miss Info and Angela Yee. The studio was set up almost like a classroom, and when T.I. entered the room, he immediately took charge and began to educate us on the album and the recording process.
According to T.I., Trouble Man is his best album to date, and all of his albums in the past have reflected where he was as a man. Trouble Man is also a perfect mixture of his early album Trap Muzik and the more recent Paper Trail.
“I think this is my best work ever because all of my albums have been snapshots of where I was in life as a man. I’m in a better position right now than I was then.”
Although T.I. didn’t preview the full album for the room, there were several standout tracks: “Sorry,” which features Andre 3000, “Trap Back Jumpin’”, “Hello” with Ceelo Green (which he originally skipped until someone requested it), and “Guns & Roses” alongside Pink.
Trouble Man will be available on December 18th via Atlantic Records.
