Watch: Wale’s ‘Folarin’ Trailer
Wale is prepping a self-titled mixtape for Christmas Eve (12/24). And he’s now released a mixtape trailer to raise anticipation for the project.
The clip features footage from the 2012 Maybach Music Group tour — Wale meeting fans, pre-gaming in his dressing room, rocking the stage with MMG cohorts Rick Ross, Meek Mill, et al.
Wale titled his new mixtape Folarin after his last name (a subtle ploy to encourage proper pronunciation of his surname, perhaps?). Folarin serves as a sort of preamble to Wale’s upcoming third album. If you need an extra reason to get excited about the mixtape, here’s one: it’s hosted by revered boardsman DJ Clark Kent.
