Artist to Watch: Phil Beaudreau
Meet Phil Beaudreau. New England native. Berklee alum. Multi-instrumentalist.
The list goes on.
I could tell you more about Beaudreau. Like, the fact that he plays bass, violin, trumpet, horns, etcetera. I could tell you about his upcoming EP, Ether, which Beaudreau wrote in its entirety. I could tell you about his velvet voice, which lilts at will on “Take It High” (below). I could tell you that he cut his tooth under the tutelage of Grammy-winning producer Dawaun Parker, who executive produced Beaudreau’s debut EP.
I could tell you that Beaudreau is a proven producer himself, twisting knobs under the moniker AoE (short for “All or Everything” or “Ambassadors of Earth,” depending on what day of the week it is). In short, I could tell you that Beaudreau has all the ingredients of a star or you could spend 10 minutes finding out for yourself.
Below, three cuts from Phil Beaudreau’s debut. Get familiar.
