Beyoncé brought out the stars and planetary bodies to the premiere of her HBO special, Life is but a Dream, last night in New York City.

All the entertainment bigwigs were there: JAY-Z, Oprah Winfrey, Tina Knowles, Solange Knowles, The-Dream, ?uestlove, Angela Bassett, Chris Rock, Russell Simmons, Angela Simmons, Victor Cruz, Luke James, and more. Queen Bey was all smiles in a gorgeous gown.

The documentary didn’t disappoint, either. Oprah told MTV News that she found the documentary to be “so empowering.” “There’s a moment where [Beyoncé] said she did this because she wanted to learn how to trust herself and how to be more honest and how to grow — well that’s what everybody’s trying to do,” Oprah gushed.”It’s a definitely a nod to how great the documentary is given that even Oprah felt empowered watching this 90-minute look into the inner workings of Beyonce’s life.” You know you’re doing something right when Oprah is feeling empowered.

The Mighty “O” seized the opportunity to interview Beyoncé for an upcoming episode of Oprah’s Next Chapter. That special airs this Saturday, February 16, at 8 p.m. ET on the OWN Network. Life Is But a Dream will follow at 9 p.m. ET on HBO. Check out some photos from the premiere below.
