Funny how times have changed over the years. The benchmark for a hip-hop album's success back in the day (I can't believe I said that term) use to one million, or even worst (*gasp*) 500,000. But those days have come and gone like rocking pink 6XL shirts in the summer thanks to high CD prices, Napster and Limewire. So when an artist cranks out 100,000 on his or her album's first week, like Jadakiss is set to hit for his latest album The Last Kiss, it's a cause for celebration. So, with that in mind, we salute the D-Block General for the new benchmark he's about to embark on.
