Video: Bow Wow Hanging Up the Mic For Good
Bow Wow's latest album, "New Jack City II" didn't do so well, but he claims that he's "Never Been the Type to Worry About Sales"
In this video, he claims to be giving up the rap game to focus on his acting career. Check it out below:
"This is my last album because for me, there’s no more that needs to be done on the music side, I’ve done everything.
And the scary thing is I’m 22 years old……and I’m young. I’m still a baby, so it’s kinda like on the music side, I’ve been doing it since five. That’s 17 years of non-stop music, music, music. There’s nothing more to accomplish that I haven’t seen yet. I feel like now it’s time to endure a new challenge… Close the chapter on the Bow Wow legacy… As far as albums, I’m good. Seven albums at 22, that’s crazy.”
He's definitely a smart young dude, you have to give him that. I'm sure we'll be seeing more of him in the future, regardless.

So dont let one ablum get you down just try something else. Maybe one day you will come back too the music. Go to schooll get a degree make more money. But put god first and it will all work out. You have always had little girls as fans and always will. You tried to force your adult status on us and it didn't work because we will always look at you the same. "Lil Bow Wow" You are not in the same league metaphorically as Weezy,Jigga, Busta, or anyone else you said was giving you props. Instead of beefing with Solidier Boy, you should have joined him and got them sales. Say what you say Rashad, you are hurt you only sold 18,000. Your label is probably dropping you right now. Take a few years, let your voice change completely, and do leg lifts. "You got to know when to fold em" I respect you, but I want to wait for masculant grown man Bow Wow. Change the name 2.
