All Black Everything | Nike Basketball and Jordan Brand Athletes Pay Tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. played a significant role in the progress of African Americans before his untimely death in April 1968. His message has echoed on for decades and Today, we celebrate and pay homage to his life and legacy on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the Monday after January 15th. The NBA athletes who represent Nike Basketball and Jordan Brand decided to play their games in honor of Dr. King. They were seen ballin’ in a special collection of all black PEs.

Many of the players suited up in the all-black silhouettes as a symbol of the principles of equality and service that Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. stood for. Nike Basketball presented the all black LEBRON 14, KD9, KYRIE 3, PG1, KOBE A.D., Soldier 10, Hyperdunk, Audacity, Zoom Rev and Zoom Live. Jordan Brand delivered the AJXXXI, CP3.X, Extra.Fly, M13 and Super.Fly 5 PO.
