Get Fit & Cultured With The MET Museum Tour Workout

In this day and age, people are trying to multi-task all the time. Trying to do a variety of things at once is at the top of everyone’s “to-do” list. Working out is something that can be done just about anywhere. Kegels at the desk, mini-reps with bottles of water or  squats in the subway…there is always some time to get it in. Whether it’s a light workout in the office or a full blown lift-fest at a nearby gym, people are doing all they can to get that workout in. The Metropolitan Museum of Art just gave folks another reason to come through. Visitors can partake in a museum tour and workout at the same damn time!

Who would’ve thought that running through the halls of the Metropolitan Museum of Art could be so much fun. Choreographer Monica Bill Barnes and Anna Bass have put together “The Museum Workout”. The classes gather every Thursday – Sunday at 8:30 am. Folks get to run, jump, and sweat amongst some of the world’s most amazing art pieces while listening to Disco and Motown Hits.
