NPR Music continues to deliver with its Tiny Desk Concert series. Quite a few dope artists from a variety of genres have come through to perform. Artists can perform with just a mic or come through with a live band. Either way, they usually get it in as they perform. Common, Lianne LaHavas, and Gucci Mane are just a few of the artists to show up for Tiny Desk. Sampha is the most recent artist to stop by for this last concert series. As expected, he bodied his music set.
With just a piano and an electric keyboard, he ran through some hits off his album, Process. These songs were presented in their most basic form but still popped. He performed Plastic 100°C, No One Knows Me (Like the Piano), and Blood on Me. If you’ve heard the original album versions then you would definitely appreciate the simplicity of the Tiny Desk version. Sampha’s voice is strong and shined through the entire performance.
