There has been a lot of buzz going on in the hip hop department. A lot of folks have been quiet and now it seems that everyone is awake and ready to go. Drake, Ross, and K-Dot have all given us something new to chew on. J.Cole joined his peers in announcing his next endeavor. He is slated to drop his second documentary, 4 Your Eyez Only, exclusively on HBO.
This second documentary is a follow up to his first doc that dropped last year. The doc is named after 4 Your Eyez Only, his gold selling album that dropped in December of last year. Both films show Cole behind the camera and talking to the people. He is genuinely interested in what the people have to say and is doing everything he can to get their voices heard. The film is a blend of song snippets and interviews and commentary from some odd the people who live in the low-income areas in the South. The film was produced and co-directed by J.Cole, Scott Lazer, Ibrahim Hamad, and Adam Roy Rodney. Music from the album is the soundtrack to the visual and is the perfect backdrop for the project.
