Let The Games Begin! Spring Is Here And Cuffing Season Is Over

It’s official! The sun is shining, the temperature is warming up, and summer is on the way. The start of Spring signals the end of cuffing season and the relationship games begin. Most people who have been cuffed all winter can’t wait to break free and enjoy the warm weather and look for potential new Boos. The first sign of warm weather triggers Spring Fever and meeting new people is a sport until about September when the Draft begins for the 2017 Cuffing Season.

Whether it’s a Backyard BBQ or a Rooftop situation, there are plenty of places to go and people to see.

Summer in New York City is the perfect time to go out, hang out, and meet new people. A lot of First Dates are happening during the summer months. Knowing where to go and who to approach are important. We’ve decide to tell you about some really cool Spring/Summer happenings around NYC. Being in the right place at the right time could help your end goal of a new “cuff” for the Winter or even better, a long term jawn.

Music Festival Season is poppin’ in New York City. Governor’s Ball, Summer Jam, and the Panorama Music Festival are just a few of the biggest festivals happening this summer. Summerstage is also lit and worth the visit. These are great places to meet new people and chances are…all parties involved have music in common.

New York City parks are perfect for picnics and meet-ups. Grabbing a blanket and packing a cooler full of grub is the easiest way to spend a summer day. Astoria Park, East River State Park, Central Park, and Prospect Park are just a few of the grassiest areas in the city to kick back and relax. This is a great place for a first date or a potential place to meet a new Boo. Get your people together and enjoy the day!

Rooftops are a summertime obvious. Whether it’s kicking it at the bar for sunset or catching a movie, having the city skyline in the backdrop is perfection. First Saturdays, MoMA PS1 Warm Up, Smorgasburg, and Summer Streets are just a few of the summer happenings around the city that require your attention and attendance.
