Mother’s Day is a very special day. While most of us celebrate and appreciate our mamas every day, Mother’s Day is a special day to show her how much you love and appreciate all that she did/does for you. There are levels to Mother’s Day. They start with the Kindergarten plants and pictures and then peak once children get jobs. The gifts get different once children get jobs.
If you’re an adult, buying your mama something spectacular should always be a thought. On Mother’s Day, you need to go all out. No vacuums, or washing machines, or pots and pans because that only encourages stereotypical motherly duties. Go big and get some diamonds, plan a trip for her, or reserve a day at the spa so she can kick back and relax. These are things that say I appreciate you mom and you deserve to be rewarded.
Music is always a solid winner when it comes to gifts. Get mom a subscription to TIDAL and make her a Mother’s Day playlist. This Hey Mama Mother’s Day Playlist is totally appropriate for the occasion. If this doesn’t cut it, you can make her a custom playlist your self. This Playlist could be packed with songs that she likes or songs that have a Mother’s Day theme. Pick up a wireless speaker so that she can stream her tunes wherever she goes.
Cooking for mom is always a treat. The only thing you shouldn’t do is leave a mess for her in the kitchen. Be sure that whatever you decide to chef up for her on Sunday, is cleaned up and out of the kitchen by Monday. She will have your head if she has to walk into a dirty kitchen full of dishes she didn’t make.
At the end of the day, making sure that mom feels special is the goal. However you know how to do that, please make sure you go above and beyond to make it happen.
