Brooklyn is home to many faces, places, and cultures. The Caribbean culture is strong in Brooklyn and well represented around the borough. Pearl’s is a delicious authentic Caribbean restaurant that delivers the flavors from the Islands to the streets of Williamsburg.
The menu is packed with everything from Tamarind Wings to Jerk to all kinds of Bake. The sides include the traditional coconut rice and even roasted corn with mayo and coconut. Of course there’s Roti and it’s served with chicken, shrimp, and veggies. Traditional meals are tweaked to perfection as well. The Brown Stew Mahi Mahi is served with peas and rice and the Curried Conch is served up with dumplings. The brunch menu is poppin’ too and they offer a bottomless serving of Mimosa, Rum Punch, or Bloody Mary whole you dine. This spot is definitely worth the visit. Its owners have a solid foot in the food world as some of their other successful food spots include Sweet Chick, Ludlow Coffee Supply, and Ludlow Barber Supply.
