Pony Sneakers play a large part in New York City’s fashion history. The famed sneaker brand, Pony (Product of New York), launched back in the 1970s and maintained their reputation as time passed. Aside from making their mark on the fashion scene, Pony sneakers have played their position on the basketball court as well. They are coming back for your sneaker closets this fall with a relaunch of the signature Topstar silhouette. The campaign comes equipped with Joey Bada$$ as the fresh face of the brand’s newest endeavor.
“PONY—Product of New York—and the brand of Joey Bada$$ go hand-in-hand.” – Joey Bada$$
The Topstar sneaker will be available in a variety of colors and fabrics. This fall drop comes just in time to add some flavor to Back to School fits. Aside from this campaign, Joey and Pony have something else up their sleeves. They are scheduled to drop a collab collection later on this year. The collection is a seven-piece situation that is heavily inspired by the colorways of New York sports teams. What better way to represent New York than that?
The new Pony collection will hit retailers in September. Look for them at Urban Outfitters, Zumiez, Sneakervilla, and select boutique retailers.
