Music festivals in New York City are certified summertime activites. As summer comes to a close, so does music festival season. One of the last festivals to hit New York City this year is The Meadows Music and Arts Festival at Citi Field. It hits Queens the weekend of September 15th and it promises to bring great music and arts to Q-Boro next month.
The Meadows is a three day presentation of some of the industry’s hottest artists from a variety of genres of music. Jay Z, Tegan and Sara, Nas, Red Hot Chili Peppers, MIGOS, Weezer, Erykah Badu, and Kamaiyah are just a few of the artsts scheduled to touch the stage during festival weekend. Aside from the music, there will be a full arts display available for guests to experience during the entire weekend. In between sets, festival goers can partake in all kinds of things including photo booths, ping-pong, and much more. Festival food will be in heavy rotation as well. Past festival food booths include cuisine from Luke’s Lobster, Mighty Quinn’s BBQ, and the famous Ramen Burger.
