It’s About That Time! New Year, New Me… Attack of The New Year Resolutions

The New Year, 2018, is right around the corner. People are gearing up to start it off with a bang. The social media proclamations with “New Year, New Me” Resolutions are on deck. Making personal announcements about what needs to be changed and all the things that people want to accomplish have become routine. There are a few resolutions that are hard to keep. Every year people go with these resolutions and end up abandoning them by February. This time, commit to sticking to it.

A very popular resolution involves gym memberships and losing weight. People go into the new year wanting to lose weight, get fit, and become a vegan. All of the gym chains begin promoting cheaper than usual rates to get people to sign up. This should help but it doesn’t. People go into the new year pumped and motivated. The gyms are packed in the beginning of January and empty out by the end of the month.

Another popular resolution involves cigarettes and the desire to quit smoking. Even though this is literally a life-changing event, some people still can’t seem to kick the habit. Nicotine addiction is tough so simply making a measly resolution won’t help.

The saving money resolution… Well, we all know how that goes. Given the new leader of our country, this will be damn near impossible for anyone to accomplish. What you can do is try and generate different forms of income so that you’re not only depending on one. Crypto and friends have been a quiet source of revenue for quite some time. People have been trying their hands at it and it’s now becoming a “thing”. Get into the game before it’s too expensive.

Success, love, and relationships get “resolutioned” too. People set out to find love and happiness for the upcoming year. The key to executing any of those is the motivation of the person behind it.

Commit to the changes you want to see

Don’t just talk about it, be about it. If you want to stick to your resolutions for the upcoming new year, there are some things you can do to make it happen. First and foremost, set goals instead. Be specific about what you want to accomplish and see it through. Commit to the changes you want to see and make them happen. Don’t get discouraged if it doesn’t happen overnight. Change takes time and slow progress is better than no progress. As long as there are some results, you’re on the right path. Good Luck!
